Did you know you can book a private session in advance with a Disney PhotoPass photographer at Walt Disney World?
Thanks to “Capture Your Moment,” guests are able to reserve a 20-minute photo session with a PhotoPass photographer.
But, the service is only currently available at Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom, with the latter park being the latest addition!
On May 5, Disney Parks Blog announced that Capture Your Moment is coming soon to Animal Kingdom.
Photo sessions will take place on or nearby Discovery Island. Some of the shots, of course, will offer stunning views of the Tree of Life.
Per Disney, guests are able to discuss with their photographer the available photo shoot locations and even ask questions to figure out “how the sessions can be customized” to their needs.
Guests will check in for their session at the ticket and information desk outside Island Mercantile in Discovery Island.
The 20-minute photo session costs $50 and can include up to eight guests.
This is important: Prints and digital downloads are not included in the price. Those with a Disney PhotoPass entitlement (Memory Maker, Memory Maker One Day, and Annual Passholders with a PhotoPass download benefit) can download the photos at no extra cost.
Bookings are now open for sessions that will be offered daily starting May 17. You can make reservations up to 60 days in advance by booking online or calling 407-939-7758.
If you’re interested in booking Capture Your Moment at Magic Kingdom, you can do so online or by calling the same number listed above for Animal Kingdom. You can also check availability and book when using the My Disney Experience app (this feature is not yet available for Animal Kingdom sessions).
