What Is Key West Known For?

Key West is the largest island in Florida and measures 4 miles long and 2 miles wide. It’s also the southernmost point in the continental U.S.

In addition to beaches, tropical flavors, and exciting nightlife, Key West is full of history, specifically in the historic district known as “Old Town.” You can even tour Ernest Hemingway and Tennessee Williams’ homes.

Since Key West is closer to Havana, Cuba than it is to Miami, Florida, Cuban immigrants transformed the population throughout the last century.
