Disney Wish is the newest ship joining the Disney Cruise Line fleet that already includes the Disney Dream, Disney Magic, Disney Wonder, and Disney Fantasy.
Wish is described as “the castle on the sea” and that truly is the perfect description.
Originally slated to have its maiden voyage on June 9, 2022, the Disney Wish is now set to sail on July 14, 2022. Anyone booked on the original maiden voyage will be automatically booked on the new sail date.
For those booked on any of the affected sailings, they will receive a 50 percent discount on a future cruise departing by December 31, 2023.
Any funds currently applied to a reservation must be held as a future cruise credit. This credit will be automatically applied to a guest’s account in the coming days and can then be used as a payment option when you book your new reservation. You can also request a full refund.
The 12 sailings affected are: June 9, 14 (DVC), 17, 20, 24, 27 and July 1, 4, 8, 11, 15, 18. Disney Wish itineraries will once again become available for booking beginning February 8, 2022.
