All about the Fireworks Dining Packages at Epcot

Some of the best entertainment at Epcot is the nighttime fireworks spectacular that takes place once a night on the World Showcase Lagoon.

This is always a popular event, meaning you should plan in advance if you want a good view.

That said, if you’re not a fan of saving seats for the fireworks at Walt Disney World, specifically Epcot, there are two other options that you can try. But, keep in mind, this will cost you additional money.

Currently, there are two fireworks dining packages offered at Epcot for adults and children to enjoy a range of food, beverages, and, of course, the brand new nighttime spectacular, Harmonious, that officially debuted on Oct. 1, 2021 for the 50th anniversary celebration.

These dining packages certainly aren’t cheap, but if you don’t want to worry about snagging seats early and also want to try some unique food options at Epcot, these might be a good choice for you.

Let’s take a look at each of the fireworks dining packages available at Epcot.

What are the fireworks dining packages at Epcot and where are they located?

The two dining packages at Epcot are:

  • Spice Road Table Fireworks Dining Package (held at Spice Road Table in the Morocco Pavilion)
  • Rose & Crown Fireworks Dining Package (held at the Rose & Crown Dining Room in the U.K. Pavilion)

If you choose to dine at Spice Road Table, you’ll enjoy Mediterranean-themed food and drinks, whereas Rose & Crown offers classic British fare.

Know that you also remain at your table to watch the fireworks. You don’t move to another location.

Here’s a more detailed look at each dining package, including how they differ.

What are the differences between the two dining packages?

While both offer views of Harmonious and prix fixe menus, the dining packages differ.

Spice Road Table Fireworks Dining Package includes two small plates, a dessert platter, and unlimited beverages. The Rose & Crown Fireworks Dining Package includes one appetizer, one entrée, a dessert platter, and unlimited beverages.

Note: As with most Disney restaurants, there are selections for guests with allergies or other special dietary requests. Just make sure you notify Disney before you arrive and remind a Cast Member when you check in so they can ensure you get items that are safe for you to eat

Views aren’t the same at each place, since they are both located in different spots around the World Showcase.

Spice Road Table Fireworks Dining Package

  • Cost: $72 per adult (ages 10 and up) and $31 per child (ages 3 to 9); pricing includes tax and gratuity
  • Alcohol: Yes, this event has unlimited alcohol (or non-alcoholic beverages)
  • Fireworks view: You watch the fireworks on the covered outdoor patio. There’s a small section close to the lagoon reserved for those who booked the dining package. Parties with 3 or more will be seated at tables closer to the railing, whereas smaller parties of 2 and under are seated at tables behind these parties. The view here isn’t the best, even close to the railing, which is the so-called “better” view. The restaurant lighting also stays on, which makes it harder to see and you don’t get the full nighttime spectacular effect.
  • Seating: There are tables and chairs for seating. We recommend everyone remain seated so all guests can see the show and fireworks.

Important: Theme park admission is required and not included in the dining package price. You must also make a theme park reservation.

Rose & Crown Fireworks Dining Package

  • Cost: $89 per adult (ages 10 and up) and $39 per child (ages 3 to 9); pricing includes tax and gratuity
  • Alcohol: Yes, this event has unlimited alcohol (or non-alcoholic beverages)
  • Fireworks view: You will dine outside at Rose & Crown’s patio that sits on the water, offering views of the fireworks on World Showcase Lagoon. The outdoor area is uncovered, so if there is bad weather, the experience will take place in a covered area outdoors. All the tables are lined up against the railing, so guests will have similar views of the show.
  • Seating: There are tables and chairs for seating. We recommend everyone remain seated so all guests can see the show and fireworks.

Important: Theme park admission is required and not included in the dining package price. You must also make a theme park reservation.

Which party would you recommend?

While the food at Spice Road Table is excellent, the view seems much better from Rose & Crown’s patio. But, that also means you’ll have to pay a little bit more for the better view. Rose & Crown also serves tasty food and drinks, so you can’t really go wrong here.

Important: We have not personally tried the Rose & Crown Fireworks Dining Package, but we’re basing our recommendation on our past experiences, research, and Walt Disney World knowledge.

What can I expect to be served?

Spice Road Table and Rose & Crown both offer very different fare, with the former serving small Mediterranean plates and the latter being classic British fare.

Spice Road Table Fireworks Dining Package includes two small plates, a dessert platter, and unlimited beverages. The Rose & Crown Fireworks Dining Package includes one appetizer, one entrée, a dessert platter, and unlimited beverages.

For both dining packages, once you are seated, you can place your order with your server. You don’t have to get up at all during this experience to serve yourself.

Spice Road Table Fireworks Dining Package Menu

The Mediterranean small plates for adults, include: Hummus Fries (plant-based), Grilled Lamb Kefta, Tiropitakia, Dolmas (plant-based), Naan Spreads, Spiced Chicken, and Spicy Shrimp.

The kids menu includes: Vegetables and Hummus, Seasonal Fruit, Grilled Chicken and Pita, and Grilled Cheese Pita (all are served with a small low-fat milk or small Minute Maid Apple Juice).

The dessert platter features assorted baklava and cookies.

As for the beverage options, there are both unlimited alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, like Coca-Cola products, Iced Mint Tea, water, and Mediterranean-themed beer, wine, and cocktails.

Rose & Crown Fireworks Dining Package Menu

You’ll receive a United Kingdom cheese platter, the soup of the day, or a Scotch Egg as your appetizer.

The entrées to choose from are Shepard’s Pie, Fish and Chips, or Bangers and Mash. As for the dessert, you get a Pudding Platter with Sticky Toffee Pudding, a Strawberry Trifle, and a Malted Milk Chocolate Mousse.

You can also order both unlimited alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including Coca-Cola products, water, tea, cider, wine, beer, and a specialty cocktail.

How do you book it?

You can book both dining packages online up to 60 days in advance. These are somewhat popular and there’s limited space available, so if you can’t get a reservation, keep trying because sometimes dining reservations do open up at the last minute.

How does check in work?

For both Spice Road Table and Rose & Crown, you can begin checking in at the front of the restaurant 45 minutes before the show starts.

Since this is reserved seating, you don’t really have to worry about snagging a good table. But, you may want to arrive a bit earlier to see if you can get in before other guests to try to pick a table with a better view.

You may even receive a text after you check in when your table is ready. There are no wristbands given out, but you’re simply escorted to your table when it is time.

How is the view from Spice Road Table and Rose & Crown?

The good thing about Harmonious is there really isn’t a bad view of the show around the entire World Showcase, but there are some that are better than others.

For Spice Road Table, you watch the fireworks from a table on the covered outdoor patio.

There’s a small section close to the lagoon reserved for those who booked the dining package. Parties with 3 or more will be seated at tables closer to the railing, whereas smaller parties of 2 and under are seated at tables behind these parties.

Admittedly, the view here isn’t the best, even close to the railing, which is the “better” view. The restaurant lighting also stays on, which makes it harder to see and you don’t get the full nighttime spectacular effect.

But, that also doesn’t mean you can’t see the show, it’s just an ok view. You may even have a pillar in your way.

For Rose & Crown, you sit outside on the patio along the water. The outdoor area is uncovered, so if there is bad weather, the experience will take place in a covered area outdoors.

All of the tables are lined up against the railing, so guests will have similar views of the show. Rose & Crown appears to have the better view compared to Spice Road Table.

Are the fireworks dining packages at Epcot worth it?

Honestly, it all just depends on what you’re willing to spend, if you don’t want to save your own seats, and if you want a savory meal with drinks and dessert during the fireworks.

These are far from cheap, especially for families.

If you’d rather skip the party and save money in the process, there are still plenty of other great fireworks viewing locations around World Showcase, but you will have to start grabbing your spot at least 1 to 2 hours before the show begins (depending on crowds and other factors).

  • Canada: Right across from where the current festival booth is usually located before you enter the actual pavilion; near torch 16, good for an exit out the front of the park
  • France: Near where Belle usually meets catty corner from Les Chefs de France, great for a quick exit out the International Gateway
  • Between Mexico and Canada: If you want a perfect, centered-view of the massive barge ring, try to find a spot between Mexico and Canada Note: these spots fill up first, and large chunks will be reserved seating, but there are still some non-reserved spots to be had if you are willing to snag one early
