Disneyland Adds Reservations At Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar

On Aug. 4, the Disney Parks Blog shared even more Disneyland dining news.

Not only is more character dining returning (with buffets!), but a favorite Quick Service spot is reopening and Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar at the Disneyland Hotel will soon begin accepting reservations.

First, Trader Sam’s will start taking reservations for both lunch and dinner beginning Aug. 11, with the first reservation date on Aug. 15.

This is a popular spot, so be sure to book reservations as soon as you can!

If that isn’t exciting enough, Carnation Café at Disneyland Park will reopen on Sept. 16. You can expect Mickey waffles for breakfast and Walt’s favorite chili or Chicken fried Chicken for lunch and dinner.

The cafe even has some new options, including the Parmesan-crusted Patty Melt or the Short Rib with homemade Mac and Cheese. Don’t worry, you can still get the Fried Pickles here!

Better yet, the Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures at Napa Rose in Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa opens on Aug. 26 with bookings available Aug. 11.

Upon arrival, Disney Princes Disney Princesses will greet you on a private patio for an exclusive photo opportunity.

Kids will also be able to participate in Princess-themed activities and receive a special keepsake to remember their special morning!

There will be both breakfast and luncheon offerings available, including three-tier towers of appetizers, plenty of choices for kids, and also chocolate princess cake pops, petite raspberry tarts, seashell macarons, sorbet, and more desserts.

In other character dining news, Goofy’s Kitchen at the Disneyland Hotel is reopening on Aug. 18 with bookings available Aug. 11.

Characters won’t be part of the experience upon reopening, but they will return at a later date.

Goofy’s Kitchen is also returning as an all-you-care-to-enjoy breakfast and dinner buffets and serving stations, including a dessert buffet.

Finally, there is Minnie & Friends — Breakfast in the Park at the Plaza Inn in Disneyland Park, which returns on Aug. 12 with bookings available Aug. 11.

This is a modified character dining experience, with characters waving and taking socially-distanced photos with guests.

On July 15, Disney announced the return of select character dining at Disneyland, including the reopening date for Minnie & Friends’ Plaza Inn character breakfast. At the time, a booking date was unavailable. Now we know it’s Aug. 11.

Remember, if you have confirmed theme park reservations and tickets for the same park, you can make dining reservations on the same date 60 days in advance.
