If there was ever an emergency or you simply needed a bandage for a cut or a blister, Walt Disney World has you covered.
There are several First Aid stations across Disney World that even have nurses to help any way that they can.
If you were to ever need First Aid assistance during a visit to a Disney World theme park or water park, let’s talk about what these facilities are, where they are located, and what services they offer.

What Are They?
First Aid stations are exactly what they sound like. They are centers available for anyone who needs medical assistance, including if a guest feels ill.
There are also nurses, who are available during normal park operating hours.
What Services Are Offered?
The nurses available during normal park operating hours can provide only select services, including:
- Over-the-counter medications
- Bandages
- Other quick remedies
First Aid can also store any medications you need refrigerated and provide special containers for the disposal of hypodermic needles.
While there aren’t large-size changing ables for adults, the First Aid stations have private rooms for those who may need one. There are beds and cots available.
Keep in mind that there are also companion restrooms across Disney World for those who need or prefer privacy. They are big enough to accommodate wheelchairs.
Some (not all) of the companion restrooms also have regular-size changing tables. The First Aid stations also have companion-assisted restrooms.
Most of the First Aid stations also have Baby Care Centers attached. Baby Care Centers are fully staffed and have all kinds of offerings for parents with infants and toddlers. You can visit during regular park hours.
- Private nursing room with rocking chairs
- Changing room with tables and a women’s restroom
- Feeding area with highchairs
- Kitchen with microwave and sink
- Main room with television, table, and seating
- On-site shop offering formula, baby food, juice, diapers, wipes, sunscreen, over-the-counter medications and clothing for purchase
A lost child will also be escorted by a Cast Member to the Baby Care Center and looked after until a parent or guardians comes to claim the child.
Baby Care Centers are not offered at Typhoon Lagoon, Blizzard Beach, Disney Springs, or at Disney World Resort hotels. But, most restrooms do have baby changing stations.
Important: if you’re ever facing a major emergency at Disney World, you can and should call 911.
What Does First Aid Cost?
Both First Aid and Baby Care Centers are complimentary, along with the services offered. They are there to help at no cost to you!
Smaller items like a single dose of medication or a bandage are free, but if you need a package of diapers or a full box of medication, you will have to pay for these types of items.
Where Are They Located?
You can find First Aid at all four theme parks and two water parks.
In typical Disney fashion, the First Aid stations blend in with park theming and architecture.
There’s a good chance that you’ve passed the locations on several occasions and never even knew it was First Aid!
Magic Kingdom
First Aid and the Baby Care Center are located between The Crystal Palace and Casey’s Corner.
Epcot
Epcot’s First Aid and Baby Care Center is in Future World next to the Odyssey Pavilion, where the Epcot Experience is housed. It’s located before the Mexico pavilion.
Hollywood Studios
The First Aid station and Baby Care Center is located at the front of Hollywood Studios, near the main entrance. Once you pass the touch points, it will be located to the left of the Crossroads of the World.
Animal Kingdom
Animal Kingdom’s First Aid and Baby Care Center can be found in Discovery Island. They are right next to Creature Comforts, the Starbucks location.
Blizzard Beach
There isn’t a Baby Care Center at Blizzard Beach, but there is First Aid station located between the Beach Haus and Lottawatta Lodge.
Typhoon Lagoon
Typhoon Lagoon doesn’t have a Baby Care Center, but guests can visit the First Aid Station. You can find it next to Leaning Palms and across from Happy Landings.
Resort Hotel Services
Disney World Resort hotels don’t have their own First Aid stations or Baby Care Centers, but in-room medical services are be provided.
All you have to do is tap the “Front Desk” button on your in-room phone for assistance, which is available 24 hours a day.
Offsite Urgent Care
As recommended on the official Disney World website, guests who need medical assistance can also visit the AdventHealth Centra Care Walk-in Urgent Care Center in Lake Buena Vista.
This particular Urgent Care is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. All other locations are open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
