Now that we know the Walt Disney World Park Hopper Option is returning on Jan. 1, 2021, many have been wondering if park-to-park transportation will return.

Well, according to the official WDW website, guests will be able to take transportation between parks sometime in 2021.

“Park-to-park transportation is planned to resume in 2021, with operations beginning each day shortly prior to the start of Park Hopper hours,” the website states.

Currently, and since guests with valid theme park admission and a Disney Park Pass reservation can only access one theme park per day, complimentary Disney transportation between parks is temporarily unavailable, including monorail service between the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC) and Epcot.

The specific type of park-to-park transportation that will be available is unclear, but it most likely will include buses and the Monorail. Regarding the latter, a reopening date for the Epcot Monorail line hasn’t been given.

You can currently take the Monorail to Magic Kingdom, the TTC, and participating resorts (Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort’s Monorail station is temporarily closed).

As for the return of Park Hopper, and as stated above, there will be select Park Hopper hours in which guests can utilize. They will begin at 2 p.m. each day and end at the park’s scheduled close time.
