Yet another popular pavilion in Epcot’s World Showcase is Mexico.
Guests love the food and the beverages here, which is probably why the Jardin de Fiestas booth never seems to be without a line.
So, if you want to try Mexican-inspired dishes and special margaritas, this is the outdoor kitchen to visit.
All that said, this wasn’t one of our favorite booths. As much as we wanted to love it, our dishes weren’t that hot, which could’ve been been due to the booth just opening up, but nonetheless.

Overall, we really enjoyed the plant-based option, the Tostada de Chorizo, and the Poppy Flower Margarita. But, again, not a booth we’d recommend you run to.

Enchilada de Mole Negro
Enchilada de Mole Negro has Chipotle Chicken in a Corn Tortilla with Mole Negro, Avocado Mousse, Crema Mexicana and Queso Fresco. This is new 2022 festival menu item.

Price: $7.50
Special Diets: Gluten-Friendly
Rating: 2/5
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Served room temperature at opening, slightly spicy, didn’t love the flavor.
Heather: I really wanted to love this one but it was cold.
Felicia: The mole is very overpowering and bitter. Ours was also served cold which I don’t think was on purpose. Didn’t like it and wouldn’t recommend. The bitter taste lingers.
Taco Vampiro
Taco Vampiro is Barbacoa Beef in a Corn Tortilla with Crispy Grilled Monterey Jack Cheese, Salsa Ranchera and Esquites. This is a new 2022 festival item.

Price: $8.00
Special Diets: Gluten-Friendly
Rating: 3.3/5
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Tough tortilla, bland taste.
Heather: Good flavor with a little kick. A bit heavy on the salt. I can feel myself retaining water as I type this.
Felicia: Delicious. The beef has a great flavor, the shell is crispy and the sauce is a little tart and complements the taco well. The little side of corn was tasty as well. Loved it.
Tostada de Chorizo
Tostada de Chorizo is Plant-based Chorizo and Black Beans on Crispy Corn Tortilla with Avocado Mousse and Queso Fresco. This is a new 2022 festival item.

Price: $7.75
Special Diets: Gluten-Friendly, Plant-Based
Rating: 3.5/5
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Crispy shell, love that it’s a plant-based option, flavors weren’t super great.
Heather: My favorite of the booth. Temp still not hot enough, though.
Felicia: Maybe fine for a plant based option, but the seasoning is strong and not pleasant (like a standard taco seasoning) and it didn’t taste like much else.
Allyson: I love that Mexico has a plant-based option. This is full of flavor and such a good menu item. Highly recommend. Also note that this is somewhat hard to eat.
Poppy Flower Margarita
Poppy Flower Margarita features Curamia Tequila Blanco, Hibiscus Flower Tea, Cucumber Juice, Aperitivo and Lejay Blackcurrant Liqueur with a Chile Salt Rim.

Price: $13.75
Made with Alcohol?: Yes
Rating: 4/5
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Decent size, love the combo of Chile salt and sweet poppy flavors.
Heather: I don’t like margaritas but I liked this one! Not too sweet.
Felicia: This is refreshing and delicious. I expected it to be very sweet and maybe syrupy, but it’s light and the cucumber helps make it taste refreshing. There isn’t an overwhelming lime or typical “margarita” which is nice. Would happily order one of these.
Allyson: This is nice and refreshing! I love the flavor, but I also think it’d be even better without the Chile salt rim.
Hypnotic Margarita
Hypnotic Margarita features Corazón Tequila Blanco, Ilegal Mezcal Joven, Rosemary, Hpnotiq Cognac and Lemon Juice.

Price: $14.25
Made with Alcohol?: Yes
Rating: 2.3/5
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Cute cup but tasted like cough syrup.
Heather: Don’t listen to anybody else. This one is tasty! Smokey flavor with a kick (of goodness).
Felicia: I was looking forward to this because I love mezcal, but this was just watery and had a weird sweet flavor to it. Wouldn’t recommend, especially for the price.
Allyson: I don’t know why, but this tastes like Pirates of the Caribbean water smells.
Tulum Mexican Craft Beer
Tulum Mexican Craft Beer with Floater is an Artisanal Lager with Citrus notes made with Caribbean Seawater and served with an Elderflower Liqueur Floater.

Price: $5.00 (6 oz.) / $10.00 (12 oz.)
Made with Alcohol?: Yes
Rating: 3/5
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Bland, watery taste.
Heather: Not a bad beer. Nothing special, though. Easy flavor.
Felicia: Nice, easy-drinking Lager. Nothing too special, but it’s a solid beer.
Allyson: A solid light beer that is good if you’re drinking around the world or want a lighter beer on a hot day.
