Belgium Booth Menu & Review (2021 Epcot Food & Wine Festival)

The Belgium booth has officially returned for this year’s Food & Wine, meaning we get to eat more Belgian waffles!

This marketplace first opened on Oct. 1 and now you can enjoy some sweet and fluffy Belgian waffles.

If you want to go the savory route, there’s also a beer-braised beef dish. You can find the booth at the entrance of the World Showcase near the Canada booth and close to the Refreshment Port.

While the food wasn’t anything out-of-this-world here (the waffles makes good kid-friendly options), the drinks are the standouts.

Belgium All Items

We especially liked the Chimay Dorée Gold and Chilled Coffee featuring Godiva Chocolate Liqueur.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Belgium booth, including reviews, photos, and our must-trys.

Photos & Reviews

Beer-braised Beef

A delicious beer braised beef served with smoked Gouda mashed potatoes.

Belgium Braised Beef

Price: $5.75
Special Diets: N/A
Rating: 4/5

Our Thoughts

Heather: Loved the mashed potatoes, but the sauce/gravy was a bit too sweet for me. The beef was tender and had good flavor
Felicia: Hearty sauce with delicious mashed potatoes. It’s a good dish but I also think there are better choices at the festival.

Belgian Waffle with Warm Chocolate Ganache

Belgian-style waffle topped with a warm chocolate ganache and whipped cream.

Belgium Chocolate Waffle

Price: $4.50
Special Diets: Kid-friendly
Rating: 4.3/5

Our Thoughts

Heather: Is it a basic waffle with chocolate sauce? Yes. But is it delicious? Also yes. This is also a great option for kids, and as an added bonus – it isn’t too sweet.
Felicia: This is delicious. Great waffle that isn’t too sweet, the chocolate and whipped cream are delicious. Would happily get this again as a great dessert option.
Allyson: A nice fluffy Belgian Waffle that’s not super heavy. A good kid-friendly option.

Belgian Waffle with Berry Compote

Belgian-style waffle topped with a berry compote and whipped cream.

Belgium Waffle Berry

Price: $4.50
Special Diets: Kid-friendly
Rating: 3.6/5

Our Thoughts

Heather: I like the chocolate one better, but this one is pretty good, too. The berries are a bit tart, which is nice.
Felicia: This is very good. Great waffle that isn’t too sweet and the berry compote is tart and delicious.
Allyson: Similar to the other Belgian Waffle available here, but not as sweet thanks to the berries. I liked this better than the one with chocolate. Kids would like this too.

St. Bernardus Witbier

St. Bernardus Witbier is a wheat beer and a traditional Belgian white beer.
Note: this drink is also available in a flight.

Belgium Beer Flight

Price: $5.00 (6 oz.) / $9.00 (12 oz.)
Made with Alcohol?: Yes
Rating: 3.6/5

Our Thoughts

Heather: Good and tasty, easy to drink. But, the downside is there just isn’t a ton of flavor.
Felicia: This isn’t good, in my opinion. I like witbier and this just isn’t my thing. Doesn’t taste like much.
Allyson: I love a WitBier, so, yeah, get me another glass of this.

Delirium Red Fruit Beer

The Delirium Red Fruit Beer is from the Huyghe Brewery and is a Belgian Fruit Ale.
Note: this drink is also available in a flight.

Belgium Beer Flight

Price: $5.00 (6 oz.) / $9.00 (12 oz.)
Made with Alcohol?: Yes
Rating: 1/5

Our Thoughts

Heather: Tastes like how cough drops smell. Blech.
Felicia: If I could give this a zero, I would. If you want to remember what it feels like to be sick and forced to drink cherry cough syrup, go ahead and get this.
Allyson: Why am I drinking cough syrup? A big nope.

Chimay Dorée Gold

The Chimay Dorée Gold is a Belgian style beer brewed by Bières de Chimay in Baileux (aka Chimay), Belgium.

Belgium Chimay

Price: $5.00 (6 oz.) / $9.00 (12 oz.)
Made with Alcohol?: Yes
Rating: 4/5

Our Thoughts

Heather: Loved this one. Great flavor and very, very smooth.
Felicia: Solid beer. It’s the only beer at the booth that isn’t offered in a flight. If you’re a fan of Chimay’s other beers, you will probably like this one, too.
Allyson: A very good beer. Definitely would get this again.

Chilled Coffee featuring Godiva Chocolate Liqueur

A chilled coffee spiked with Godiva Chocolate Liqueur.

Belgium Chilled Coffee Cocktail

Price: $11.00
Made with Alcohol?: Yes
Rating: 3.6/5

Our Thoughts

Heather: Extremely sweet but would be a good alternative to dessert. Tasted like a mudslide.
Felicia: This has great flavor. It reminds me of a White Russian or a mudslide. It’s a bit sweet for me.
Allyson: This is exactly what you think it is — and, yes, it’s good. Might not be great on a hot day, though.

Belgian Abbey Ale

The Belgian Abbey Ale is produced in the styles originally made famous by Belgian Trappist monks.
Note: this drink is also available in a flight.

Belgium Beer Flight

Price: $5.00 (6 oz.) / $9.00 (12 oz.)
Made with Alcohol?: Yes
Rating: 1.6/5

Our Thoughts

Heather: Was this beer or stale water? You be the judge. Or don’t.
Felicia: It’s a fine ale. Kind of watery and neutral.
Allyson: This was just ok. Not a standout beer to me.
