Located in Future World near Test Track and Cool Wash, you can find the Flavors From Fire booth (hosted by The NFL on ESPN).
As you may have already guessed, this booth brings different levels of heat and smoke to each dish.
This is a favorite for many guests, including us! We honestly enjoyed the entire booth.
In fact, if you want to sample some offerings from Food and Wine but also want to avoid walking around to multiple booths, this is a good place to stop for several items at once.

Here’s everything you need to know about the Flavors From Fire booth, including reviews, photos, and our must-trys.

The Corned Beef Corner Route
Crispy potatoes topped with smoked corned beef, cheese curds, pickled onions, and beer cheese fondue.

Price: $5.50
Special Diets: N/A
Rating: 5/5
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Wow. Didn’t know what to expect but the flavors all come together so nicely – and with a nice crunch from the potatoes.
Heather: Can confirm that the cheese curds squeak in your teeth. Smoky. Warm. Creamy. All my favorite things.
Felicia: Absolutely loved this. The cheese sauce is delicious and goes well with the cheese curds. The corned beef is slightly smoky and delicious and the onions add a nice pickled flavor.
The Chimichurri-up Offense
A smoked corn cake topped with charred chimichurri steak, pickled vegetable slaw, and cilantro aïoli.

Price: $7.25
Special Diets: Gluten friendly
Rating: 4.3/5
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Fantastic flavors, pickled slaw really stands out.
Heather: Good … but in 2nd place for this booth in regards to savory items. Smoky flavor. An all-around winner (just not as much of a winner as the corned beef).
Felicia: Delicious chimichurri steak. The slaw was a little sweeter than I would have preferred but I liked it overall.
The S’mores Whoopie Pie-lon
A smoked chocolate cake sandwich filled with graham cracker, marshmallow, chocolate ganache, and candied bacon.

Price: $4.00
Special Diets: Kid friendly
Rating: 3.3/5
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Yum, yum, yum. Great combo of flavors. Good dessert option to round out the booth.
Heather: It’s a swing and a miss! Well darn. I really wanted to love this…but the graham cracker was mushy and the flavor was just … off??? Much better sweet options at the other booths.
Felicia: This tasted good overall but everything, including the graham cracker, had the same texture.
Saugatuck Brewing Company Bonfire Brown
A malty brown ale with a slight smokiness, brewed by Saugatuck Brewing Company in Douglas, MI.

Price: $5.00
Made with Alcohol?: Yes
Rating: 3/5
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Fantastically flavored brown ale.
Heather: It’s good … but kind of a generic flavor. Definitely smooth, but not unique enough to hunt down at home.
Felicia: Was hoping for more smokiness on this one, but it was a decent brown ale.
Allyson: I like how this is on the lighter side for a darker beer and has good flavor.
Four Virtues Bourbon Barrel Zinfandel
A full-bodied red wine by Rutherford Ranch Winery that has been aged in oak bourbon barrels and is from the Lodi region of California.

Price: $6.00
Made with Alcohol?: Yes
Rating: 2.8/5
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Light, but slightly bitter taste.
Heather: I wish I liked reds more so I could write a better review. Sorry for failing you.
Felicia: This is served chilled and is a refreshing smooth red, if you like red wines (which I do).
Allyson: I don’t like wine and this definitely isn’t my favorite. I wouldn’t try this again.
Swine Brine featuring Jim Beam Bourbon
A cocktail made with a mix of Jim Beam Bourbon, apple cider, lemon juice, and dijon mustard then topped with a pig wing.

Price: $11.00
Made with Alcohol?: Yes
Rating: 3.7/5
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Don’t even like bourbon usually, but loved this so much. Decent portion, fantastic flavors.
Heather: Do you like Jim Beam? You’ll probably like this. Comes with a hunk of meat with a BONE floating in it so that might have impacted how I felt about this drink.
Felicia: The pig wing floating in the cocktail is off putting, but the drink itself is tasty and tart.
