Best Kid-Friendly Options at Epcot Food and Wine 2021

Epcot is certainly one of the more adult-friendly parks at Walt Disney World and even more so when there’s an ongoing festival.

Heck, “wine” is even in the title of the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival.

Although the Food & Wine Festival is geared more towards adults, that doesn’t mean there isn’t anything for kids to enjoy.

If you’re traveling with little ones, you might want to know about the best kid-friendly options at Epcot Food and Wine 2021.

Not everyone is an adventurous eater (both children and adults). Epcot is far from the typical theme park food that’s served at Magic Kingdom.

If your little one is a picky eater and you want to try the different Food and Wine booths without having to stop at Quick Service locations along the way to please those tiny mouths, look no further!

Here is a list of the best 2021 Food and Wine dishes that kids should definitely approve of as you travel around the World Showcase.

Let’s get to it!

Kid-Friendly Food & Wine Options

Appleseed Orchard

appleseed orchard - canada far and wide epcot food and wine

You can find Appleseed Orchard in the Canada pavilion, where Canada Far and Wide normally plays (the show is temporarily suspended during Food and Wine).

This booth is all about, you guessed it, apples.

While this wasn’t one of our favorite booths, there are three options that kids might enjoy.

Apple Chips

  • Price: $4.00 (gluten-friendly)
Apple Chips - Appleseed Orchard

While not an extremely unique menu item, apple chips might be what your little one is craving. Keep in mind that these are your standard apple chips and similar to what you can get at any grocery store.

Apple Crumble Tart

  • Price: $4.50
Apple Tart - Appleseed Orchard

This Apple Crumble Tart is tasty. It is pretty much your normal apple tart, so nothing that will scare kids. Plus, it’s the perfect size for families, meaning it’s shareable!

Frozen Apple Pie

  • Price: $4.50 (non-alcoholic)
Frozen Apple Pie - Appleseed Orchard

It’s hard to find non-alcoholic beverages at Food and Wine (for obvious reasons), but the Frozen Apple Pie is one of a few good choices. This is refreshing on a hot day and has a nice sweetness to it.

Belgium Booth

The Belgium booth (located at the entrance of the World Showcase near the Canada booth and close to the Refreshment Port) has both sweet and savory offerings, including a beer-braised beef dish.

But if you have a trip between now and Nov. 20, 2021 (when Food and Wine ends), you can order from here.

There are two sweet menu offerings that may very well speak to kids.

Yes, they are Belgian waffles!

Belgian Waffle With Warm Chocolate Ganache

  • Price: $4.50
Belgium Chocolate Waffle

This marketplace serves a Belgian Waffle with Warm Chocolate Ganache, which is your standard Belgian waffle with sweet toppings.

While it isn’t anything out-of-this-world, the waffle is fluffy, the chocolate is sweet, and everything together makes for a good combination of flavors. It’s too bad they aren’t Mickey-shaped!

Belgium Waffle With Berry Compote

  • Price: $4.50
Belgium Waffle Berry

The Belgian Waffle with Berry Compote is just like the Belgian Waffle with Warm Chocolate Ganache, but with berries!

It’s exactly what you’d expect, which might be perfect for little ones because they won’t be surprised by anything out of the ordinary.

brazil booth

The Brazil booth is located between the France and Morocco pavilions.

The booth has one popular menu item that many guest love. (Admittedly, it wasn’t our favorite but you and your little one might feel differently.)

Does your little one like cheese and bread? Well, you may want to order here.

Pão De Queijo

  • Price: $4.75 (gluten-friendly)
pao de queijo

The Pão de Queio is simply a Brazilian cheese bread. You can also order something similar at Skipper Canteen in Adventureland at Magic Kingdom.

Brew Wing booth Food and Wine festival

Not only is Brew-Wing located next to the very cool Epcot Experience (inside the Odyssey Events Pavilion), but you can get a taste of air conditioning here and sit down to eat.

Plus, if your family wants to eat wings and pizza, this should be your go-to.

Cheese Flatbread

  • Price: $9.00
cheese flatbread at epcot food and wine 2021

First for kiddos, there is the Cheese Flatbread. This is exactly what it looks and sounds like. Warning: it’s a good size, so you may want to think about sharing.

Pepperoni Flatbread

  • Price: $9.50
pepperoni flatbread at epcot food and wine 2021

Secondly, there is a Pepperoni Flatbread. This is just like the Cheese Flatbread, but with pepperoni. Yes, it’s just as big.

canada booth menu epcot international food and wine festival

If you head towards Canada instead of Mexico, you’ll hit the Canada booth that serves a staple dish that most kids and adults love.

What is it it? Well, it involves cheese, bacon, and pretzel bread.

Canadian Cheddar Cheese and Bacon Soup

  • Price: $5.75
Beer Cheese Soup - Canada

The Canadian Cheddar Cheese and Bacon Soup is a pretty straight-forward dish. Even though we personally didn’t love this option this year, kids probably won’t be as picky about a cheddar cheese soup served with pretzel bread on the side.

china booth menu epcot international food and wine festival

Admittedly, the China booth isn’t anything to rave about, but there is one beverage that’s a must.

This drink is something both kids and adults should try. And, yes, it’s non-alcoholic.

Mango Bubble Milk Tea

  • Price: $7.25 (non-alcoholic)
Milk Tea - China

The Mango Bubble Milk Tea is a great size, a good price, and has good flavor. This isn’t too out-of-the-box when it comes to flavors, but if your little one is feeling a little more adventurous, try this!

The Donut Box

Donut Box Food and Wine Festival booth

The Donut Box is located near Test Track, so you can always grab a sweet treat here before or after you ride.

There are several donuts featured and some of the flavors even rotate, so there’s always something new.

But, there is one specific donut (and a permanent menu item) that’s perfect for kids.

Candy Jar Donut

  • Price: $5.00
candy jar donut donut box food and wine

Candy on a donut? If your kid loves candy and donuts, this is for them. This particular donut is topped with M&M’s, Snickers, and Twix pieces! This is your average donut, but definitely something kids will eat up — and fast.

Strawberry Smoothie

  • Price: $5.00 (non-alcoholic)
Strawberry Smoothie - Donut Box

The Strawberry Smoothie is actually quite good and refreshing. It’s also non-alcoholic. That said, don’t be confused, because this isn’t your typical smoothie. It doesn’t have a standard smoothie consistency and is more like a frozen slush.

france booth menu epcot international food and wine festival

France is one of the more popular booths during Food and Wine (really, at most every festival) — and for good reason.

While most of the menu offerings are for adults, there is one item this year that kids should be able to eat.

If you’re traveling with kiddos who love cheese and bread, then this is a good option.

Beignet Aux Trois Fromages

  • Price: $5.75
Beignet Aux Trois Fromages - France

This is a three-cheese beignet. It is warm. It is fluffy. It is beyond cheesy. It is worth every penny. Now, since this is a beignet, it has a sweet taste but nothing too strange or over the top.

Funnel Cakes

funnel cakes booth menu epcot international food and wine festival

Funnel Cakes is a permanent Quick Service stand between Japan and America.

It serves — wait for it — funnel cakes!

At every Epcot festival, Funnel Cakes has exclusive festival offerings.

This year’s Food and Wine menu item is in honor of those who love roasting marshmallows over a fire and slapping them on a graham cracker with chocolate.

Mini Candied Bacon S’mores Funnel Cake

  • Price: $9.50
Mini Candied Bacon S’mores Funnel Cake - funnel cakes

This is a mini-funnel cake covered in marshmallows, chocolate sauce, vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, and candied bacon. If your child likes s’mores, you can’t go wrong here.

FYI: you can ask for the bacon on the side or without. Actually, the funnel cakes are made to order, so you can probably ask to leave off an ingredient that you know your kid won’t touch.

germany booth menu epcot international food and wine festival

Germany is always a busy pavilion and the same can be said for the Food and Wine marketplace.

While you can order bratwurst and beer here, there’s also a kid-friendly dessert.

Apple Strudel

  • Price: $4.25
Apple Strudel germany

This Apple Strudel is the only dessert option at the Germany booth and a good one. It’s also a really nice portion size, so it’s definitely a sweet treat that can be shared. Oh, and a vanilla sauce comes on the side.

Italy booth menu epcot international food and wine festival

You’ll find the Italy booth immediately after Germany on the right-hand side.

Admittedly, Italy isn’t a booth where you should waste your time and money. Most of the options are mediocre and overpriced.

But, if you’re desperate because you need your little one to eat, there is one offering here you may want to try.

Mezzelune Croccanti

  • Price: $12.00
Mezzelune Croccanti - Italy

The Mezzelune Croccanti is crispy half-moon breaded mozzarella filled ravioli with pomodoro sauce. This is exactly what is sounds like. This is a straight-forward dish that kids should like and you get a nice serving, but keep in mind it does cost $12.

Mac & Eats

Mac and Eats Booth

You really can’t go wrong with macaroni and cheese, especially the options served at this year’s Mac & Eats booth.

You can find this booth in Future World near Test Track and the new Creations Shop.

There are several styles of mac and cheese served that kids might like, but we know one for sure that should be a success.

Traditional Macaroni and Cheese

  • Price: $4.75
Mac and Eats Traditional Mac

The Traditional Macaroni and Cheese is, well, macaroni and cheese made with herbed Panko and bread crumbs. It doesn’t get more traditional than that. It’s quite cheesy and defintely up a little ones alley.

Refreshment Port

refreshment port booth menu epcot international food and wine festival

The Refreshment Port is a permanent Quick Service spot that can be found on your way into the Canada pavilion.

If your kids aren’t a fan of the festival offerings being sold here, there is one daily menu item that will probably do the job — the Chicken Breast Nuggets and French Fries (8 pieces) for $10.50.

As for exclusive festival offerings, there is actually one that might be perfect for little ones — and is shareable!

Traditional Poutine

  • Price: $7.50
Traditional Poutine - Refreshment Port

Now, poutine probably isn’t considered “kid-friendly,” but this is French fries (kids love Fench fries!) topped with Boursin Cracked Pepper crumbles, cheese curds, and brown gravy. Plus, you get a lot and can share, which is an added bonus.

Shimmering Sips

shimmering sips booth menu epcot international food and wine festival

Not only does Shimmering Sips (near Port of Entry) sell mimosas but there’s a plant-based banana bread that’s tasty.

However, there’s another sweet treat perfect for little ones.

Shimmering Strawberry Soft-Serve

  • Price: $5.25
Strawberry Soft-Serve - Shimmering Sips

This is your standard strawberry soft serve, but super tasty and refreshing. There’s a lot of flavor. But, it melts fast and can get messy, so be sure ask the Cast Member working for an extra dish — or eat it quickly!

Tangierine Cafè: Flavors of the Medina

Tangierine Cafe booth menu epcot international food and wine festival

Tangierine Café (in the Morocco pavilion) finally reopened during Food and Wine as a festival booth. It’s a stunning location, has lots of seating, and a big menu.

While kids won’t appreciate many of the food and drinks here, there are two choices that can be kid-friendly.

Stone-baked Moroccan Bread

  • Price: $5.00
Stone Bread - Tangierine Cafe

This is bread with three dips: Hummus, Zaalouk (the red; eggplant and tomato-based), and Zhoug (the green; spciy cilantro). The dips are more on the adventurous side, but some little ones may be ok with them.

Fresh Orange Juice

  • Price: $4.75 (non-alcoholic)
Orange Juice - Tangierine Cafe

Not everyone is a fan of fresh orange juice, especially if it has pulp. But, this is a tasty and refreshing orange juice. It’s a great choice for kids.

Other Kid-Friendly Festival Fun

In between eating, you may want to try the following Food and Wine-exclusive activities with your little ones.

Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak Scavenger Hunt

Remy's ratatouille hide and squeak map epcot food and wine

Even though this activity is an additional cost ($9.99), it’s so cute and fun! Perfect for kids, adults, and families.

You purchase a map and stickers from either Port of Entry, Pin Traders, or World Traveler (at the International Gateway).

Then, as you travel around the world Showcase, you’ll hunt for Remy (as you can see below) and place the corresponding sticker on your map!

It’s a great way to interact with little ones and get them interested in each country.

Once you’ve found each Remy (you don’t have to complete all at once, but can do it across multiple park days), take your completed map to Disney Traders, World Traveler, or Gateway Gifts.

Then, you’ll receive a prize — one of four Disney-themed bowls (Figment, Remy, Belle, or Mickey and Minnie).

Princess Tiana Playground

Near Test Track, the Mac & Eats booth, and the new Creations Shop, there’s a playground themed after Tiana from Princess and the Frog.

This playground has always been here and was closed for awhile due to the ongoing pandemic. But, it is now newly themed after Princess Tiana for Food and Wine.

Looking for more kid-friendly options at Epcot? Here are a few ideas not related to Food and Wine:

  • There are several attractions: Frozen Ever After, Journey Into Imagination With Figment, The Seas with Nemo and Friends, Turtle Talk with Crush, and Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros
  • Cool off and watch some shorts at the Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival (next to the Imagination! pavilion)
  • Watch the Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along (France pavilion)
  • There’s a FREE Finding Nemo Scavenger Hunt starring Dory inside the Seas Pavilion
  • Kidcot Fun Stops (tables set up in each pavilion for kids to collect traveler cards and learn a fun fact about each country)
  • Meet characters throughout the park (princesses around the World Showcase and other characters by the Imagination! pavilion)

Don’t forget about the addition of Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, which is definitely a family-friendly ride. Of course, there are bigger attractions like Test Track and Soarin’ Around the World.

Keep in mind that the bigger rides might be too scary for kids. Check out out our page on things that might scare little ones.
