Our 7 Favorite Booths From Epcot Food and Wine 2021

The 2021 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is officially underway and runs through Nov. 20, 2021.

With a total of 34 booths (9 don’t debut until Oct. 1, aka Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary), there’s a lot of food and beverages to sort through.

Where do you even begin? What’s good? What’s bad? What’s worth the price? What’s way too expensive?

That’s where we come in!

We ate at the 25 global marketplaces that opened on July 15. We also tried every single food item and beverage — so you don’t have to.

After tasting some very good (and some not-so-good) offerings, we narrowed down our favorite booths and our top menu items from each.

With so many booths, we want you to not only make the best use of your time, but also not waste money on food and drinks that just aren’t worth it.

We’ve made a list of our 7 favorite booths from Epcot Food and Wine, along with why we love them so much, what they offer, their locations, prices, and more.

Flavors From Fire

Flavors From Fire hosted by The NFL on ESPN is a returning booth — and continues to be a standout. You can find it near Test Track in Future World.

It’s rare to find a booth that is a complete hit, so if you don’t want to make multiple stops around Epcot to eat, Flavors From Fire is your go-to.

flavors from fire epcot booth location

As you might have guessed by the name, the menu offerings are smoked. That might not be up your alley, but we loved everything here! Yes, it was that good.

The Menu

flavors from fire booth menu epcot international food and wine festival

There are three food options, including two savory and one sweet, with the latter being a great kid-friendly option.

There are also three beverages: a beer, a wine, and a cocktail.

Our Favorites

So, which items were our favorites? Well, we truly loved everything.

The Corned Beef Corner Route

  • Price: $5.50
Corned Beef - Flavors from Fire

The food definitely out-shined the beverages, but if you want us to really narrow it down, order The Corned Beef Corner Route.

The flavors in the corned beef dish were fantastic, with the potatoes adding a nice crunch and the cheese curds and sauce being creamy and delicious.

There’s also a nice smokiness to this.

The Chimichurri-up Offense

  • Price: $7.25
Chimichurri Steak - Flavors from Fire

As for The Chimichurri-up Offense, this definitely comes second to the corned beef, but still great.

Between the pickled slaw, the smoky flavor, and the steak, well, you can’t go wrong with this savory dish.

Better yet, both are decent-sized offerings for a festival item, which are typically small plates. You definitely get your bang for your buck.

Check out our Flavors From Fire booth page for ratings, reviews, and more.

France

france food and wine epcot

There’s just something special about the France booth. This always seems to be a success no matter the festival. And, well, the same can be said about Food & Wine.

You can’t miss the France marketplace as you enter the pavilion. It’s right at the front.

This is a very busy and popular booth. The line builds quickly and can sometimes even get up to an hour wait.

Our suggestion? Rope drop this booth. That’s right, forget about running to Test Track, Soarin’, or Frozen Ever After. If you’re visiting Epcot for the food, France is the direction to go first thing.

The Menu

france booth menu epcot international food and wine festival

You can choose from four different food items:

France Food and Wine all food items

There are quite a few beverages, with one non-alcoholic option, a couple wines, a mimosa, and France’s famous alcoholic slushy.

Our Favorites

So, which items did we like best? There were quite a few standouts.

Croissant aux Escargots

  • Price: $6.25
Croissant Aux Escargots - France

First, there is the Croissant aux Escargots. In the words of Shannon Albert, “If you’ve never tried escargot, this would be a good way to try it.”

The flavors are fantastic, plus the escargot has more of the texture of mushrooms, if that helps you decipher whether or not you want to try this.

Also, you can’t go wrong with a flaky pastry — in France.

Beignet aux Trois Fromages

  • Price: $5.75
Beignet Aux Trois Fromages - France

A great vegetarian option (because there aren’t really that many at this year’s festival) is the Beignet aux Trois Fromages.

Hello cheesy and flaky pastry goodness! The beignet has a sweetness to it, which isn’t overpowering and has a lovely taste. The flavors work very well together.

It’s also a good sized treat and the perfect combination of savory and sweet.

La Passion Martini Slushy

  • Price: $12.50
Passion Martini Slushy - France

You can never go wrong with the alcoholic slushy beverages in France, including this year’s Food & Wine option.

It’s refreshing, has nice flavors, and great on a summer day. But, it melts fast in the heat, so drink and take photos in a timely manner!

FYI: You can also find alcoholic slushes at Les Vins des Chefs de France in the France pavilion, which are available year-round.

Chardonnay

  • Price: $5.00
Chardonnay - France

We also really liked the Chardonnay offering here. With so much wine at Food & Wine, this was one of the better choices, especially for a white wine.

Check out our France booth page for ratings, reviews, and more.

Refreshment Port

While not your standard booth, Refreshment Port (and Refreshment Outpost) always has a few festival offerings.

And this year’s options are off the charts.

You can’t really go wrong here. Plus, you’ll find here some of the more filling dishes.

When walking into the World Showplace towards Canada, you’ll find Refreshment Port to your right.

The Menu

refreshment port menu epcot

The stand offers two different poutine options, along with a pretty stellar dessert.

refreshment port food and wine menu items

Admittedly, you can forget about this wine and focus strictly on the beer.

Our Favorites

Minus the wine, we enjoyed everything here. Let’s take a look.

Traditional Poutine

  • Price: $7.50
Traditional Poutine - Refreshment Port

Talk about a hefty portion! This traditional poutine was yummy in all the right ways. Oh, and the cheese? Your taste buds will thank you.

Luna Lemonade Ale

  • Price: $9.75
Luna Lemonade Ale - Refreshment Port

Now this is a beer you need to get on a hot Disney park day!

The Playalinda Brewing Company Luna Lemonade Ale is not too lemony and super refreshing. Instead of a 6 oz. or 12 oz., you get a full-sized glass that’s totally worth the price.

Maple Boursin Cheesecake

  • Price: $4.50
Maple Cheesecake - Refreshment Port

Finally, there is the Maple Boursin Cheesecake. Wow. Just wow.

This is a seriously good dessert that you shouldn’t pass. The cheesecake is creamy, the crunch is spot-on, and the maple flavor is heaven.

Check out our Refreshment Port page for ratings, reviews, and more.

Germany

germany booth menu epcot international food and wine festival

While Germany recycles some of the same menu options year after year, they continue to land.

These are pretty hearty offerings, too.

Keep in mind that Germany is a popular marketplace and sometimes items sell out. If you’re looking forward to eating and drinking here, put this at the top of your list.

If you want to head to Germany first, go towards Mexico and you’ll find the pavilion right after the Refreshment Outpost.

The Menu

germany booth menu epcot international food and wine festival

There are two solid savory choices and a dessert that’s standard, but tasty.

Germany Food and Wine Festival

Of course there’s beer (and wine) served here.

Our Favorites

There are two top choices you should definitely check out here. They are:

Schinkennudeln

  • Price: $4.50
Schinkennudeln at epcot food and wine germany

Schinkennudeln is pasta gratin with ham onions and cheese.

As you can see from the photo, you get a huge piece and, well, it’s great for sharing or if you want a bigger portion at the festival.

Schöfferhofer Wild Cherry Hefeweizen

  • Price: $5.00 (6 oz.), $9.00 (12 oz.)
germany - Schöfferhofer Wild Cherry Hefeweizen

While there are many who have compared this to cough syrup, several of us here at WDW Prep School really enjoyed Schöfferhofer Wild Cherry Hefeweizen.

If you’re fan of the the popular Schöfferhofer Grapefruit beer, you might also like this, but they are very different in taste.

Check out our Germany booth page for ratings, reviews, and more.

Mexico

Mexico booth food and wine festival epcot

Mexico is yet another fan-favorite booth. It’s also located in one of the most popular pavilions.

Sometimes Mexico can be a hit or a miss, but this year it was definitely a hit.

Many of the plates and drinks are a decent size too, which is nice because many Food & Wine offerings are on the smaller side.

The Menu

mexico booth menu epcot international food and wine festival

Here is the food available, including two savory items and a dessert.

  • Chilaquiles con Chorizo: Crispy Corn Tortillas tossed in Salsa Verde and Monterey Jack Cheese topped with Crema Mexicana, Queso Cotija, Pickled Onions, and Ground Chorizo (NEW)
  • Taco de Ribeye: Shaved Ribeye, Red Onions, and Poblano Peppers on a Corn Tortilla with Ranchera Salsa, Cotija Cheese, and Chives (NEW)
  • Capirotada de Chocolate: Abuelita Chocolate Bread Pudding served with a Chocolate Crème Anglaise
mexico epcot food and wine menu items

Yes, there’s beer, margartias, and a sangria.

  • Mexican Craft Beer: Tulum Artisanal Lager crafted with Citrus notes and made with Mexican Caribbean Seawater
  • El Tigre Margarita: Ojo de Tigre Mezcal with Pomegranate, Prickly Pear, Pineapple, and Ginger Juices served on the rocks with a Hibiscus Salt Rim (NEW)
  • La Clásica Reyes Margarita: Centinela Blanco Tequila, Ancho Reyes Chile Liqueur, Abasolo Corn Whiskey, Lime Juice, and Agave Nectar served on the rocks with a Chile Piquín Salt Rim (NEW)
  • White Passion Fruit Sangria: White Wine, Chinola Passion Fruit Liqueur, and a hint of Ilegal Mezcal (NEW)

Our Favorites

We had a few favorites here, including one savory dish and two drinks.

Chilaquiles con Chorizo

  • Price: $7.00
Chilaquiles - Mexico

Talk about really good portion size!

Between the generous portion, the mild spice level, and the nice mix of textures and flavors, this is the one dish to try at Mexico.

White Passion Fruit Sangria

  • Price: $10.00
Passion Fruit Sangria - Mexico

Admittedly, this White Passion Fruit Sangria isn’t the best sangria we’ve ever had.

But, what makes it a good option is that everyone should like it because it is your standard sangria.

If you don’t have an adventurous palate or just want something you know you’re going to like (because, let’s face it, festival items can be expensive), go with the sangria.

Mexican Craft Beer

  • Price: $5.00 (6 oz.), $9.50 (12 oz.)
Tulum Lager - Mexico

The same can be said with the Mexican Craft Beer.

It has the same vibe as Corona and Dos Equis. The light beer has great flavors and is perfect for a hot day. If you want something you can drink all day, this is it.

Check out our Mexico booth page for ratings, reviews, and more.

Earth Eats

earth eats booth menu epcot international food and wine festival

If you’re a vegetarian or vegan, Earth Eats is where you want to fork over money, especially because there aren’t many vegan/vegetarian options at this year’s festival.

This booth is completely plant-based and meat eaters shouldn’t let that fact scare them.

This really is a solid booth with fantastic options — and I’m not just saying that because I’m vegetarian. My coworkers agree!

Now, you may not want to eat the chili on a hot day (we get it), but it is one seriously good bowl of plant-based chili.

You really can’t go wrong with whatever you order.

The Menu

earth eats booth menu epcot international food and wine festival

These two food menu items are seriously good.

Earth Eats food and wine festival

Two of the drinks are tea-infused, plus a wine option. There’s even a non-alcoholic choice.

Our Favorites

If you’re going to purchase anything at Earth Eats, make it these two items.

Spiced Apple Twinings of London Chai Tea with Whiskey

  • Price: $11.00
Apple Chai Whiskey - Earth Eats

Who knew chai tea and whiskey go so well together?

Some of us were a bit skeptical prior to drinking this, but, wow, were we pleasantly surprised.

While the non-alcoholic version is on the sweeter side, the whiskey makes the drink even better and evens out the sweetness.

The Impossible Burger Slider

  • Price: $6.00
Impossible Slider - Earth Eats

If you’re fan of Nomad Lounge at Animal Kingdom and have ordered the Impossible sliders, then you definitely need to take time to try this Impossible Burger Slider.

This also goes for those who’ve never had an Impossible slider. It has so much flavor, some spice, and is the perfect amount.

Check out our Earth Eats booth page for ratings, reviews, and more.

Australia

australia booth menu epcot international food and wine festival

You definitely don’t want to sleep on the Australia booth.

This is yet another booth where we enjoyed everything.

Oh, and every single food item is gluten free, which makes it easy for those who have gluten/wheat allergies.

You can find the marketplace at the entrance of the World Showplace towards the Canada pavilion.

The Menu

australia booth menu epcot international food and wine festival

Shrimp, lamb, and a deconstructed dessert!

Australia epcot food and wine festival food

You can try one beer and three wines.

Our Favorites

Let’s chat every food item (yes, each one) and the beer.

Grilled Sweet and Spicy Bush Berry Shrimp

  • Price: $6.00
Bush Berry Shrimp - Australia

Not only do you get a good combination of sweet and savory, but a solid, yet simple and flavorful, shrimp dish.

It also comes with pineapple, pepper, onion, and snap peas, which is a great option if you want something healthier and on the lighter side.

Roasted Lamb Chop

  • Price: $8.25
Lamb Chop - Australia

The roasted lamb chop comes with a sweet potato purée, bush berry pea salad, and pistachio-pomegranate gremolata.

Everything just works with this dish. It’s a great mix of flavors, especially the pomegranate with the lamb.

Deconstructed Pavlova

  • Price: $4.00
Deconstructed Pavlova - Australia

What makes this a solid dessert is that it’s light and has fruit, which is perfect for a hot day. Plus, look how pretty it is!

While some of us thought it may have tasted better not deconstructed, it’s still a lovely, fresh offering.

Coopers Brewery Original Pale Ale

  • Price: $5.00 (6 oz.), $9.00 (12 oz.)
Coopers Pale Ale - Australia

While not our top beer at Food & Wine (that was the Green Tea Pale Ale at The Noodle Exchange), this is a nice and light pale ale.

It complemented the flavors of the food nicely and goes down easy. If you don’t want a super heavy beer, this is a good choice.

Check out our Australia booth page for ratings, reviews, and more.

Food and Wine can certainly be an overwhelming festival with so many marketplaces to explore. We hope the breakdown of our favorite Epcot Food and Wine booths and items help you save both time and money!
