Macaroni and cheese lovers, ‘gather round! The Mac & Eats booth is now open at Food & Wine.

This marketplace was originally slated to open on Oct. 1, but, thankfully, it opened early beginning Aug. 15!

You can order a variety of macaroni-and-cheese combos here. There’s even an awesome plant-based option.

You can find the booth in Future World near the new Creations Shop and Mission: SPACE.

Do you remember the macaroni and cheese booth at the 2019 Food & Wine Festival? Well, this is pretty much exactly that — and it’s still as tasty as ever.

Traditional Macaroni and Cheese

A traditional mac and cheese made with herbed Panko bread crumbs.

Mac and Eats Traditional Mac

Price: $4.75
Special Diets: N/A
Rating: 3/5

Our Thoughts

Heather: It was a step past “creamy”, which isn’t a good thing. Also, incredibly rich. I don’t know that I could finish one by myself.
Felicia: A bit gummy and boring. Not the highlight of this booth but is maybe a good option for kids (be aware there are panko crumbs on it, though).
Allyson: A solid traditional macaroni and cheese. It’s super cheesy too. A good option for kids.

Truffle Macaroni and Cheese

Truffle mac and cheese made with herbed Panko bread crumbs.

Mac and Eats Truffle Mac

Price: $5.75
Special Diets: N/A
Rating: 4.6/5

Our Thoughts

Heather: Fantastic truffle flavor. In fact, I think everything should have truffles on it. So good – not too rich, not too thick. JUST right.
Felicia: This is very good, but the truffle flavor is a bit strong so would only recommend to fans of truffle.
Allyson: More, please! This was so good.

Cowboy Macaroni and Cheese

Cowboy mac and cheese made with smoked pork belly, brisket burnt ends, pickled peppers, and onion straws.

Mac and Eats Cowboy Mac

Price: $6.25
Special Diets: N/A
Rating: 3/5

Our Thoughts

Heather: The smoky smell hits before you taste it, and unfortunately it smells kinda fake. I don’t think that the smoky smell is fake, it just …. smells fake. Also, just too much for mac and cheese.
Felicia: Another good one. The mac & cheese is creamy and delicious. There is a slight smokiness from the pork. Good and hearty option.

Macaroni and Cheese with House-made Italian Sausage and Peppers

Plant-based mac & cheese made with house-made Italian sausage and peppers.

Mac and Eats Plant Based Mac

Price: $5.75
Special Diets: Plant-based
Rating: 4/5

Our Thoughts

Heather: Usually I love the plant-based options, but the “meat” in this one, it was a bit too dry and spicy.
Felicia: For being plant-based, this is a solid mac & cheese. The crispy crumbles add a nice texture and the sausage and peppers taste like the real deal.
Allyson: This was a bit spicier compared to last year’s offering, but still so good. I love this as a plant-based option and could eat it every day.

81Bay Brewing Co. Lemon Hazy IPA

Lemon Hazy IPA from 81Bay Brewing Co. out of Tampa, FL.

Mac and Eats Lemon Hazy IPA

Price: $5.00 (6 oz.) / $9.00 (12 oz.)
Made with Alcohol?: Yes
Rating: 4/5

Our Thoughts

Heather: Perfectly refreshing for a hot Epcot day.
Felicia: This has a strong lemon flavor, which I liked. It is a bit hoppy (which makes sense as it’s an IPA), but it’s refreshing for an IPA.
Allyson: Wow. I really like this — a lot. Can I get another glass?

L’Ecole No. 41 Chenin Blanc Old Vines

A Chenin Blanc from L’Ecole No. 41 winery in Columbia Valley, WA.

Mac and Eats Chenin Blanc

Price: $6.00
Made with Alcohol?: Yes
Rating: 2.6/5

Our Thoughts

Heather: Really nice white wine, but nothing fancy or special, and definitely not as refreshing as the Lemon Hazy IPA.
Felicia: As someone that doesn’t love many of the wines at the festival, this seems like a solid white wine option. Especially because it’s at a booth with pasta.
Allyson: Yet another white wine that tastes like a white wine.

Evolution by Sokol Blosser Pinot Noir

A Pinot Noir from Sokol Blosser winery in Willamette Valley, OR.

Mac and Eats Pinot Noir

Price: $5.00
Made with Alcohol?: Yes
Rating: 2/5

Our Thoughts

Heather: Pinot Noir is either hit or miss for me, and this one is a miss. Too bitter.
Felicia: I like Pinot Noirs in general, but this one is just okay.
Allyson: I’m not a Pinot Noir fan and I’d pass next time.
