The Germany booth is typically known for its strudel and beer. What else do you need?
Found next to the Germany pavilion (right before you enter Italy), you’ll be able to purchase a variety of “Bavarian bites” that are both savory and sweet.
For adults who like beer, you can try a selection of German brews here, too.
There are many repeating items here from past years, but they are all still good choices. If it’s not broke, don’t fix it, right?
You can’t really go wrong with the Germany booth, especially if you want something a bit more filling.
It’s important to note that some items can sell out here due to popularity, so you may want to make the Germany marketplace a priority.
Here’s everything you need to know about the Germany booth, including reviews, photos, and our must-trys.

Rating: 4/5
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Looks great, decent portion, but lacked much flavor.
Heather: I really love all the things at this booth. And “pasta with meaty bits” is not only my nickname, but it is also exactly how I’d describe this German delight.
Felicia: This was delicious. Like a baked macaroni with little chunks of ham mixed in. Not too creamy, which I loved.
Roast Bratwurst
This Germany dish consists of a roast bratwurst in a pretzel roll bun.
Price: $5.75
Special Diets: N/A
Rating: 4.7/5
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Delicious brat made even better by a great pretzel bun. Would definitely buy again.
Heather: Large portion, good bread, and a nice, juicy brat.
Felicia: Solid bratwurst on a pretzel roll.
Apple Strudel
This apple strudel with vanilla sauce is the only sweet option at the Germany booth.
Price: $4.25
Special Diets: N/A
Rating: 3.5/5
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Generous portions, great taste. Could’ve used a tiny bit more sweetness.
Heather: One of the best apple dishes of the festival. It’s always a great choice.
Felicia: Not a fan of apple but thought this was delicious. Real apple flavor and cinnamon.
Allyson: The apples were a little hard and it tasted like your standard apple strudel. Nothing exciting.
Gaffel Kölsch
The Gaffel Kölsch is a lighter beer from Cologne, Germany. This is a new option at the booth.
Note: this drink is also available in a flight.
Price: $5.00 (6 oz.) / $9.00 (12 oz.)
Made with Alcohol?: Yes
Rating: Coming soon!
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Coming soon!
Heather: Coming soon!
Felicia: Coming soon!
Allyson: Coming soon!
Weihenstephaner Lager
Another beer option at this booth is the Weihenstephaner Lager from Freising, which is located in Bavaria, Germany.
Note: this drink is also available in a flight.
Price: $5.00 (6 oz.) / $9.00 (12 oz.)
Made with Alcohol?: Yes
Rating: 3.3/5
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Light taste but slightly bitter.
Heather: Light, fresh, and pretty darn tasty.
Felicia: Loved this lager. Light and easy to drink. This beer flight is great.
Allyson: This is a standard light beer and would be good for a hot day. But also nothing outstanding.
Schöfferhofer Wild Cherry Hefeweizen
The Schöfferhofer Wild Cherry Hefeweizen, from Mainz (a German city located on the Rhine River), is a new beverage option being served here.
This is the same company that produces the popular Schöfferhofer Grapefruit beer you can also find in the Germany pavilion.
Note: this drink is also available in a flight.
Price: $5.00 (6 oz.) / $9.00 (12 oz.)
Made with Alcohol?: Yes
Rating: 3.8/5
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Normally a fan of Schofferhoffer beers, but this one tastes like cough syrup.
Heather: This is a delightful addition to the Schoffeehofer collection. Fruity without being overly sweet. 10/10.
Felicia: Reminds me of wild cherry Clearly Canadian in beer form.
Allyson: I don’t like the grapefruit from this brewery, but I really liked this. Hefeweizens are my favorite. Great cherry flavor.
Selbach-Oster Riesling
If you’re not a fan of beer, there is the Selbach-Oster Riesling. This is the booth’s only wine option. It’s a white wine.
Price: $6.00
Made with Alcohol?: Yes
Rating: 2.8/5
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Light but kind of bland.
Heather: Not too sweet, but no “wow” factor. Would I drink it in a pinch? Definitely. Would I hunt it down to purchase a bottle at home? Probably not.
Felicia: Surprisingly good for a Riesling. Wasn’t too sweet.
Allyson: It’s way too sweet for me.
