From assorted wines, to a slushy cocktail, to savory and sweet items, the France booth is a success.
Instead of the La Vie en Rose Frozen Slushy, which has been a hit beverage for years (and can also be purchased during Flower & Garden Festival), in 2021 there’s a different alcoholic slushy to try.
Called La Passion Martini Slushy, this year’s frozen cocktail is made with Vodka, Grey Goose Le Citron Vodka, Cranberry, and Passion Fruit Juice — and it’s very good!
Keep in mind that this pavilion is one of the busier areas in the World Showcase, so there may be long lines at the booth.
To avoid long waits and the possibility of items running out, you may want to hit up this marketplace first thing.
Also keep in mind that there are cashiers on the other side of the France booth as well, where you can order and pay. This helps keep the line moving much faster.
Here’s everything you need to know about the France booth, including reviews, photos, and our must-trys.

Photos & Reviews
Beignet aux Trois Fromages
A warm beignet filled with a blend of three cheeses.
Price: $5.75
Special Diets: N/A
Rating: 4.3/5
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Generously sized, deliciously cheesy.
Heather: The bread has a flavor that’s a bit off, in my non-refined palate opinion, but I’d eat it again because you can’t lose with beignets and cheese!
Felicia: This is pretty good. The beignet has a sweet donut flavor that pairs pretty well with the saltiness of the cheese.
Allyson: This is pure cheesy goodness. It’s nice and soft too. Perfection.
Croissant aux Escargots
A warm croissant filled with escargot and topped with a garlic and parsley sauce.
Price: $6.25
Special Diets: N/A
Rating: 4.7/5
Our Thoughts
Shannon: If you’ve never tried escargot, this would be a good way to try it. Amazing flavors and textures. Garlic in the croissant really lingers.
Heather: This made me love escargot.
Felicia: Surprisingly good. The escargot has a mushroom texture which I like. It was very garlicky and delicious and the croissant was nice and flakey.
Coq au Vin, Pommes Dauphine
Chicken braised in a burgundy wine with bacon and puffed potatoes.
Price: $6.25
Special Diets: N/A
Rating: 3.7/5
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Too salty for me. The potato was more like a pastry in texture which was confusing.
Heather: This makes me want to go home and roast a chicken. I’d sell both my kids to eat it again. The sauce is absolutely delicious, a little salty, but I think it needs to be to help me rebalance my electrolytes after a day of Food and Wine.
Felicia: The chicken was moist and the burgundy sauce was rich and delicious. The puffed potato looks and has the texture of bread which was weird and off-putting.
Crème Brûlée au Grand Mariner
A vanilla crème brûlée made with Grand Marnier liqueur (contains alcohol).
Price: $5.50
Special Diets: N/A
Rating: 2.5/5
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Like the texture, but Grand Marnier comes through really strong on this.
Heather: I can definitely taste the alcohol, which isn’t a good thing.
Felicia: This is a decent crème brûlée. The Grand Marnier flavor is a bit overpowering, but overall not bad.
Allyson: Not really a fan of creme brûlée. This was fine, but not my favorite.
Evian Sparkling Cucumber and Mint Water
A zero-calorie sparkling water enhanced with magnesium and zinc and flavored with hints of cucumber and mint.
Price: $4.75
Made with Alcohol?: No
Rating: 2.3/5
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Tasted like carbonated water without much of the cucumber and mint coming through.
Heather: Salty salad water with a side of mint gum.
Felicia: I loved this, especially on a hot day. The cucumber and mint flavor is strong. I love those flavors and sparkling waters so I thought this was great.
Allyson: Tastes like spearmint gum. No thank you.
Strawberry Rose Mimosa
A mimosa made with Pol Remy sparkling wine, orange juice, and Monin strawberry rose flavored syrup.
Price: $8.50
Made with Alcohol?: Yes
Rating: 3.3/5
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Extremely mild flavors. Wanted more strawberry.
Heather: Yum! I liked this mimosa better than the ones at Shimmering Sips. I can definitely taste the strawberries!
Felicia: This has an artificial strawberry flavor that I didn’t care for. It wasn’t bad and would probably be refreshing for those that enjoy mimosas and strawberry flavoring.
Allyson: Doesn’t have an overpowering rosé taste. It’s sweet, but not too sweet. Definitely something I could drink multiple glasses of.
Rosé Pétillant Méthode Traditionnelle Champenoise
A traditional French sparkling rosé called the Pink Flamingo made in the Languedoc-Roussillon region of France.
Price: $12.50
Made with Alcohol?: Yes
Rating: 2.5/5
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Way too dry and not sweet enough (and I don’t normally like sweet drinks).
Heather: Dry, but not very sweet. It’s ok but I wouldn’t text my friends to tell them to try it.
Felicia: A solid sparkling rosé that is on the dryer side. Wouldn’t stop for it, but would he happy to drink it again.
Allyson: This tasted like your typical rosé sparkling wine, but still very good. If you like dry, get this.
Louis de Camponac Chardonnay
A buttery, oaky, white wine from the Languedoc-Roussillon region of France made by the Louis de Camponac winery.
Price: $5.00
Made with Alcohol?: Yes
Rating: 3.3/5
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Very nice Chardonnay. Not too sweet, not too buttery. Just right.
Heather: I really liked this Chardonnay – very smooth.
Felicia: A little sweet for a Chardonnay. Tasted closer to a Riesling to me. Didn’t love it.
Allyson: This is probably the best tasting wine I had at the festival (and I don’t like wine).
Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot Blend
A red wine blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot grapes from the Bordeaux region of France, made by Chateau de Prieure.
Price: $6.00
Made with Alcohol?: Yes
Rating: 2.8/5
Our Thoughts
Shannon: It was fine. Nothing special. Just fine.
Heather: For a red it isn’t bad. (That’s as positive as I can be about a red.)
Felicia: This is good and easy to drink. It isn’t too dry or sweet and has a great flavor.
Allyson: I don’t like wine, so not my jam.
La Passion Martini Slushy
A frozen slushy made with vodka, Grey Goose Le Citron vodka, cranberry juice, and passion fruit juice.
Price: $12.50
Made with Alcohol?: Yes
Rating: 4.8/5
Our Thoughts
Shannon: Yum yum yum. Would order again and again.
Heather: Run don’t walk for this beverage. Ignore anyone that says the slushy market is over saturated, the passion fruit makes this version a standout.
Felicia: This was really refreshing and fruity, especially in the heat. It’s a bit sweet for my liking, but it’s overall a good drink.
Allyson: You can never go wrong with a slushy in France. So good and refreshing.
